In Times of Trouble

The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalms 9:9-10)

Lord, You are my strong tower.

My soul is comforted in knowing that whatever the situation, I can come to You. I have peace within because I know You are there; ever-faithful, ever-present. You are my Helper. No need I have is too small, no problem too big; for every situation You tell me “come”.

Your love for Your child is eternal. You will not withhold it, it will never wane or fade.

What joy fill my heart because I can boldly profess “the One True God, creator and sustainer of all things, He is my Father”!

Lord, You are my refuge, I can put my trust in You.
