Sandra Bivens Smith is an author, speaker, and women’s bible study leader. She has authored numerous devotions, articles, and works of poetry.  Sandra’s published works include “Never Thirst Again”, “What It Means To Be A Christian”, “Choose Joy”, and “Lessons From Jonah”. She is currently working on a devotional study; “Knowing the God of the Old Testament”.

In 2006 Sandra joined with daughters Mikki and Amy Jo to launch Heart2Heart Ministry, a women’s ministry committed to discipling women through small group bible studies and other ministry events.  Since  inception, Heart2Heart has brought bible study to hundreds of women.

Sandra is originally from Lexington, North Carolina but now makes her home in Charlotte with her husband Avon. Together they have five children, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
