In Ephesians 6:10-11 we are told to be strong in the Lord, to put on the armor of God so that we can stand against the schemes of the devil.
Satan, among his other wicked characteristics, is a schemer. Strongs uses the word “wiles” and defines it as traveling over, travesty, (trickery): – wile, lie in wait. His schemes are not always apparent, in fact, often his schemes appear to be harmless.
This week’s lesson will take us through Proverbs chapter 4 and show how to put on the armor we need to guard ourselves from the enemy’s wicked schemes.
