Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
One of my favorite women authors is Barbara Johnson. She was a woman with an amazing testimony of trials. She strived to not just endure her trials but to find joy in spite of her trials and, through her writings, to help others do the same. As a matter of fact, she was an inspiration for my own book “Choose Joy”. If you’re not familiar with Barbara’s story, I encourage you read it; I promise you will be encouraged by it.
This month I am pleased to bring you a series of quotes from this woman of faith and courage.
“Live for today, but hold your hands open to tomorrow. Anticipate the future and its changes with joy. There is a seed of God’s love in every event, every unpleasant situation in which you may find yourself.”
