In the book of Daniel, the prophet refers to God as “The Ancient of Days,” a title that reveals God’s Triune, eternal existence, His power, His justice, and His ultimate judgment.
As we read the history found in the Old Testament writings, we have an opportunity to witness God, among other things, as Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Helper, and Provider. We see His love for His people, His sorrow when they reject Him. We also witness His anger, justice, and ultimate discipline for those who dishonor and disobey Him.
